Frequently asked questions
Straight answers about Taxora
Understand demo mode, activation, validation, subscriptions, and corrections.
What is Taxora?
Taxora is a multi-company e-invoicing management platform for Nigerian businesses. It supports demo invoicing and a controlled path to live NRS invoice submission through Remita.
Is Taxora an NRS System Integrator or Access Point Provider?
Taxora does not present itself as an SI or APP. Taxora's live NRS connection is provided through its Remita e-invoice partnership, subject to the agreed service scope.
Can I test Taxora before going live?
Yes. New accounts begin in Demo mode. Demo documents are clearly marked and are not valid NRS invoices.
What do I need for live activation?
You need an active approved Taxora subscription, completed business profile, NRS registration, valid TIN and NRS identifiers, required cryptographic information, and successful Taxora/provider verification.
Where do I register with NRS?
Use the official NRS e-invoice portal. Always confirm that you are on the official domain before entering business details. Open the official portal.
Can I manage more than one company?
Yes. Taxora supports multiple companies with separate users, roles, invoice records, identifiers, and live status.
When is an invoice called NRS validated?
Only after Taxora receives a successful validation result through the configured Remita/NRS process. Draft, pending, demo, or failed documents are not labelled NRS validated.
Can I edit a validated invoice?
Validated invoice facts are locked. Corrections are made through a linked credit note or debit note following the applicable validation process.
How are subscription payments approved?
For the MVP, customers submit payment evidence and Taxora confirms cleared payment manually before activating the subscription.
What happens when my allowance is exhausted?
Taxora warns account owners as usage approaches the plan limit. New live submissions are blocked at the approved limit until the subscription is upgraded or renewed under the applicable terms.
